Girls Night Out!

All us girls went out on Saturday night. (We were missing Brooke & Caitlin!) We went to Macaroni Grill & then to see P.S. I love you. We had a really fun time. Thanks Dad & Mom. I'm not sure that we have ever done anything like this before but it was really nice. Especially since Candace was able to be here. And no kids!! We should make this a new tradition. What do you think?

Best part of the whole day!!

The last present that the boys opened was the box that had the helmet. They just looked at us & asked what the helmet was for. They were so confused. We asked them why would you use a helmet. They were naming all these things....dirt bike, 4 wheeler and on and on. So then we told them that the last present was outside. I was trying to upload the video. I will have to try later. Sorry.

I love the holidays because we get to see family! Russell, Caitlin & Otis were here. They are always so much fun. The kids LOVE them because all they do is just play. And that is fun! Candace, Dylan, Sadie & Claire were here too. I was so excited to see them. Sadie is so big & I love her with her little glasses & her voice is so cute & so different than little boys. Cherine, Mickey, & Michael made it to town early. She actually was able to still surprise everyone!!

We all went to our family dinner with the Santiago family. We ate at Neros at Caesars Palace. It was really nice. And the food was so good!! Thanks Paul & Jean.










These are the only pictures I took. I know I am a loser. I didn't even get my camera out when we went to the Santiago's. I guess cause I wasn't feeling too great.

Christmas at our house

We had a really nice Christmas. Tanner & Carson opened their presents before Crew even woke up. He actually slept in. He was in heaven when he woke up. There was trash everywhere to play with!! Here are a few pictures from that morning.

Merry Christmas to ME!!

I went to work today for what I thought was going to be a lunch Christmas party. Well after waiting for awhile all 6 of us were handed a gift bag full of 150 one dollar bills. We were told we had to leave & spend it on ourselves and be back by a certain time to show what we bought. And we had to spend it ALL! We went to the Premium Outlet & this is what I came back with & also some hand cream & 2 pairs of sunglasses. It was so much fun. And I think I scored. What do you think?

And thank you to mom who had the boys for so long today!

Gabe came it play this morning! It is always nice to have someone to entertain Carson. They have been so quite. I realized they were playing spy on mom!!

We went to the Darrington's the other night and they have the cutest nativity. It's fisher price little people. The next day I ordered one. I realized this would be my solution to my problem of Crew always getting into my hutch & playing with my nativities. This can be out and down low where they can play & do whatever they want with it. Isn't it so cute? Another one added to my collection!

Christmas Program

Carson had his preschool Christmas program last night. They were all so cute! They sang a few Christmas songs. I think Carson's favorite was Ruldolf the red nosed reindeer. Carson is loving preschool & LOVES Ms. Tina! She is so great!

I made these pretzel hugs. They were so easy & so yummy. Here is the recipe. Opening all the hugs took the longest time.

Magical Forest

Carson & Connor had their preschool field trip today. We went to the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village. They had a really good time. They saw Santa and told him everything that was on their list. Connor wants a race car & a snowboard. Carson wants an electric guitar. Crew just sat in his stroller & watch from a distance. I figured that was best.

Crew's favorite was the train ride and of course the carousel. He threw some major fits when we had to get off.

Crew is loving the camera. He loves to get his picture taken. Well I think he really just wants to get his hands on the camera!
He has been walking more & more. And he is so proud of himself! Can't you tell?
We trimmed his hair last night. I think it makes him look older. He just sat there & didn't even fight me. Not like some other little boys do!
This kid is so much fun!

I only have 2 things to say

1. We ate cereal for dinner tonight.

2. All 3 boys are in bed!!!

Etsy finds

I found some cute shops on Etsy last night & I thought I would share. These tags are so cute for scrapbooking or even just to use as gift tags. And all this fabric is just so cute. I sure wish I knew how to sew. Maybe Kim could give me lessons when she comes home. And this shop was my favorite. You know how I am about lists and writing things down!

These were in Tanner's folder today . I thought they were cute. He has two molars coming in so he wrote about them & then of course Springs Preserve. "I hav a noo toth kuming in. it rt ow!"

Live Nativity

We went to the live nativity last night. I am so glad we got to go. It was really nice. I love the story of Christ's birth. It was nice to take the kids. Hopefully it will help them realize what Christmas is all about. Carson said that his favorite part was when the people put their arms up high. I think he was talking about this part.

100% & My homeless man

Tanner has been having a hard time with his spelling & reading. He just doesn't have the confidence. Before school this morning we reviewed & I told him that if he got all of them right then I would take him to get a Sonic slush. He looked at me like I was crazy. Like he wanted more. I thought he would be happy since he has been begging for one for a couple of days now. Well guess who doesn't think my reward is a bad idea now!


Brian had to be a homeless man at our ward christmas party. They told the christmas jar story. You know Brian got into this. He went and got a shopping cart. Filled it with cans, cardboard, garbage bags, and dirty towels. Oh & toilet paper. Everyone got a kick out of him. Some people didn't even know it was him until they saw him pushing the shopping cart out to his truck. Pretty funny stuff.

Crazy frogs & excited boys!

This is not the greatest picture but check out our frogs. They always do this. This morning it looked like they were racing up the side of the tank. We have some crazy animals!

This is a Christmas gift for the boys! Do you think they will be excited on Christmas morning when they see this in the living room with a big bow & a tag that says for them to look out in the garage?!?

Long story, but Brian got a 4 wheeler as trade from a guy he did a job for.

Carson: I hate white.
Me: What? Why do you hate white? You are white.
Carson: NO!!!!!!!!!
Me: What color are you then?
Carson: Skin color.

Santa's first flight

I went to Deseret Book today & bought this book. It was written by Brian's cousin. Very cute. Carson really enjoyed it. I liked how each of the penguins have a name. Just like Santa's reindeer. Anyways check it out here.

Thought I would share some of my nativities with you. Lots have been given to me as gifts and some I have bought myself. I love each one of them. Also here is an older post from last year where I posted a couple of pictures too. But this one is now my new favorite!!

I have found Crew a couple of times getting into them. He pulls them out & throws them on the floor. I guess all the boys have done this when they were his age. I am just getting tired of saying no over & over again.

The tree is up!

Today we put up the Christmas tree & got out all my nativity sets. It drives me crazy to do this because all the boys want to do is help & I am so afraid of something breaking. I just had to relax & let them do it. But then I went behind them and fixed it all. We also made a paper chain to countdown till christmas.
I still need to figure out where to hang our stockings. Somewhere up high where Crew can't pull them down!
