People need to mind their own!!

When I was checking out at Walmart today Crew was crying in the cart. The cashier told me that maybe I needed to change his diaper. I just said no that wasn't the problem. I had just changed his diaper right before we left the house. And anyways who is she? I don't need to explain anything to her. People have some nerve! Just keep your mouth shut! I think if I wanted advice from a stranger I would ask. Right? People just need to mind their own!!

Skater Boy

I love this boy!

-He is such a skater boy. He got this skateboard fro Christmas. He hasn't gotten too much practice with it yet since it has been so cold. He can't wait for the skate park to open in May!

-He is very much into his clothes & how he looks. This is such a hard decision each day you know. What should he wear? And does he look cool? This gets very frustrating to me since I am not like this at all. He just recently started to wear his hoodie sweatshirt underneath his shirts. I have even looked around the kindergarten playground to see if he is picking this up from some kids at school but most of them wear character clothes!

-Is so much like me! (Is that why we are always butting heads??)

-Is such a big helper at school. And at home when he wants to be. He is so happy if I give him a rag or some papertowels & a spay bottle of cleaner.

-Loves his brothers.

And thanks everyboby for you ideas to help me! This is so hard to juggle everybody and make sure all is happy---including me! But I have been working harder on Tanner & taking more time with him. Either doing something he likes with him or just listening to him with my full attention (I think that is really important to kids) and not trying to multi task. Anyways I think I will talk to him about being a better helper & listener this week & then on Saturday him & I can go do something fun!

No FHE tonight!

Well it just didn't happen. Tanner was being bad all day from the time he woke up till the time he went to school & then again from the time he was home from school till the time he went to bed! What am I going to do with him. He is not listening to me or helping me at all! I think he needs more of my attention. I just don't know how to give them all what they need. Crew seems like he is always #1 on my list. But requires the most of my time. I just hate knowing that Tanner is being this way because I can't give him what he needs. Does that make sense? And then Carson just follows what Tanner does & copies him. It is so frustrating. Brian didn't get home from work till 8:45 so I was doing all this by myself. I hate it. So FHE did not get done tonight. I felt like I was just yelling a lot. & I hate that! So my mean self sent the boys to bed at 8:00 without even a story read to them. How sad is that.
I have to figure out another night to do FHE. Or maybe on Sat or Sunday night instead I don't know. Maybe some suggestions. Good night I am tired now from fighting all day with Tanner.

Carson

I love this little boy!!!! He really can be so sweet when he is not a monster. His mood is like a light switch! Some things I don't want to forget.

Things he says all the time:

"It's ok."

"I don't care."

"Crazy head." (really anything with head after it-- but this is his favorite!)

He loves:

To ride his scooter, Diego, to be right, just a piece of paper and a marker, his blanket, to "rough up" with Daddy & Tanner, and to pretend.

He remembers so much & is ALWAYS listening. The other day he asked me why do I say"you too" to the people at the store. And we hadn't been to the store any time recently--this was just out of the blue. I told him maybe because they told me to have a good day so I said you too. I guess that is what he was talking about.

Things I am excited about right now

For this new album! He sang alot of these songs at his concert. I know not all of you like country music. But this is good stuff!!!

A new camera lens I am looking at on ebay! Still trying to decide on buying it.

American Idol is on again tonight! I love the beginning & the very end! Very funny stuff!

Crew only wakes up once during the night. That is all I am going to say about this. Just makes me very very happy since I love my sleep so much!! Enough said.

I bought 3 bags from the bag lady . Two are for myself. Should be getting them in the next week or so. Very cute! I can never get enough of bags. Not sure how I am going to explain this purchase to Brian. He just doesn't understand my love!! I will post a picture of them when they come.

I am almost done with my book for Jen for her birthday. It has turned out so cute. Now I am getting excited about scrapbooking. I need to work on some more projects or pages. Oh you might have seen this cool tool on Donna Downey's blog. I think this would be good for me to have when I scrapbook. You know since I don't really have a "spot" to always scrap. Maybe I will want to scrap more often. I don't know.

Today is Wednesday! The week is almost half over.

Here is a list of things that I can do with one hand (while I am holding Crew or feeding him) :

• wipe Carson after he goes to the bathroom.
• put his underwear & pants back on. (this one is tricky)
• make a bottle.
• prepare dinner.
• help with homework.
• take a picture. (i have only done this once or twice)
• type on the computer. (this is why sometimes I don't use caps when I should)
• help boys brush teeth & comb hair.
• put Carson's shoes & socks on.

There are probably lots more. Just some that I could think of. I am getting pretty good at most of this stuff.

Well good news at our house: Tanner & Carson are actually sleeping in their bed! NOT the couch. It has been 4 days & they are falling asleep in their bed--not on the couch & then being carried to their bed. This was probably the worst thing that we allowed our kids to do. And for so long. Tanner asked me the 3rd night if they had to do this every night. I told him yes. And he said "I don't like that choice." I thought it was pretty funny. They are actually sleeping better & not waking up all during the night. These poor boys little brains were so stimulated right before bed. Just call me "mother of the year".

Tanner drew this at school today. I love it! I love when they can start drawing & you can actually recognize what they are drawing. You know what I mean?
I love the grass & sky & even the leaves on the tree! I love our clothes. And even better the only ones with hair is myself & Crew! Gotta love it.

I found this blog yesterday! I love it! This lady makes all these bags & they are the cutest! I am the biggest lover of bags anyways so I went a little crazy. I already have emailed her & I am buying 3 of them. Well only 2 are for myself! The other is a gift. Anyways--check it out! Have

Random things for today

I got a package in the mail. I ordered some stuff off Two Peas. I am excited to do some scrapbook. I need to finish my Halloween book & a little book I have in mind for Jen as a birthday gift!


I laid Crew down on the boys bed today while I helped Tanner get ready for school. When I came back to get him he fell asleep. This was one tired boy. He didn't even cry--just closed his eyes! By the way---doesn't he look big in this big boy outfit.

Award & Stick people

Tanner got an award today at school for 100% attendance. He was so cute in his class. He was excited for his teacher to see Crew for the first time.



This is a picture that Carson colored today. I asked him what it was & he told me it was mommy, Carson & baby "Dew". I thought it was so cute I just had to take a picture! I love the stick legs!!

Goals

Been thinking a lot about goals & what I want to work on this year. It is always nice to see what needs to change and how we (or I should say I) can improve. This year I want to focus on Family Home Evening. Something that we have not been consistent with at our house. Seems like something always comes up or Brian isn't home so I use that as an excuse instead of just doing it anyway. Or I am just too tired to prepare anything. So no more this year.
I actually have a long list.

keep writing on my blog.
read more out of my scriptures.
Enjoy my boys!
exercise.
eat healthy.
get projects done around the house.
try to at least go on a date with Brian once a month.

The list could go on & on forever. I guess I can start with these.

My Life at this moment

This is my life today at this moment!
The TV was off most of the morning and the boys entertained themselves with Legos. It was nice not to have the extra noise. Then they surprised me by making their bed while I was washing bottles. I thought that was sweet because they were so excited to show me what they had done. And it was their idea! Even better!
Other things around the house right now are hangers sitting next to a pile of clothes to hang up, cleaning supplies sitting out because I had good intentions the other day to clean both dirty bathrooms, trash that needs to be emptied, & of course the basket sitting on my night stand with baby stuff!
I hope that some day I can look back & think about this time in my life and just smile because I will remember how little & sweet the boys are right now. And I'm sure I will be thinking back on this day while I am sitting in a clean house!! :)

Got my haircut this morning. That is always a good feeling! And I just can never blow dry it as well as Britt can.

On this list for today:

-Grocery store (wish me luck because I will have all 3 kids with me) Oh yeah that should have been on my list of life w/ 3 kids. That is impossible because where do you put your groceries????

-Fold & put away laundry.

-Get ready for Sunday! (i liked that primary song when I was a kid--now I'm not so sure!)

I think that will be good for today. I am going to keep the list short & then maybe I can actually feel like I got something done! Yeah me!!

Life with 3 kids

- I can never get anything done. Or at least completed. There are always piles of clothes and messes & something always needs to be cleaned!

- My house is always a mess.

- I am never on time.

- I have learned not to schedule any appointments in the morning. I can never do it.

- I feel like I am always forgetting something or someone!

- Crew is in charge at our house!!

7 weeks old

- hates baths.

- cries a lot (but is getting a little bit better)

- is starting to move his arms & legs more.

- he is looking around more & will stop eating to hear a familiar voice.

- starting to coo to us.
