Doctor
we just got home from the "mommy doctor". That is what Carson calls her. He saw another doctor in the hallway & said that was a daddy doctor. He told asked me "when do we have to go back to the doctor house." I just smiled because I knew what he was talking about. He only had to get one shot & only cried for just a second. I was so happy because 2 times while we were at the office he actually told me that he had to go to the bathroom. And he went!!!

Update on our changes
Well things are going well with the boys sleeping in the bunk bed. Life has been good. My problem is trying to get them inside with baths & story before 9:00. It seems like it is so late when we start the whole bedtime routine. Tanner always says at around 8:00 that "it isn't even dark outside yet & look at all the kids still playing." Does that sound a little familiar. Now I understand why dad & mom always tried to get us inside and to bed so early. Brian told the boys that if they stayed in their beds for one week they could go to Walmart fishing section and pick out one thing. They were so excited and couldn't wait till Saturday. How crazy is that? Only my boys. Gotta love them!!!
Carson has been doing good at potty training. Today was the first day that he actually came to me & told me that he had to go. So I think this is a good thing. We are making progress. He fell asleep today for a nap (because he has been waking up at 7am) & I had to change him into a pullup. Plus because he was on my bed!
Swimming lessons are going ok. Tanner is just so dang scared of the water. Elise said that once he gets over this he will be swimming fine. It just makes me want to stop bringing him. I feel like it is a waste of my money. But I know you are right Heather-- then he will never learn. So I just need to give it some time.
Tanner had his first basketball practice last night. It is so funny to watch those little kids try to play. Tanner is the only white boy on his team. But I think he is one of the tallest. He just needs to practice some dribbling skills at home.

Changes
We have been having some changes around her lately. Carson is on his second day of potty training. We have got to do this! He seems like he is excited and ready. Not sure when he is going to tell me that he has to go instead of hearing a little timer & knowing that means potty time. I guess it will just take some time. Because most accidents happen in between the 15 minute potty breaks. But for the most part he as been doing well.
Last night was also the boys (yes Tanner too) of sleeping in the bunk beds. They both slept on the bottom bunk together & probably woke up twice during the night. Once because of the cat and the other time was Carson needing a drink of apple juice. Which I did not give him. When I was explaining the new night time routine to the boys and to Brian at dinner last night Tanner about freaked out. He was so mad. And when it was time for bed he told me that he didn't even get to watch T.V. I told him no more watching T.V. to fall asleep. He was upset but he did finally fall asleep after 2 hours! Hopefully my nights will be a lot nicer when these boys start to go to bed at an early hour. Then maybe I can too!!
We also had our first swim lesson today. It went pretty well for the first time. The boys just need to warm up to Elise and then I think they are going to have fun with her. Tanner has just been terrified of the water & getting his face wet for so long. And now Carson is picking up on that & acts the same way.
Well hopefully we will have a easier time at falling asleep tonight. Wish me luck!
