I am scared!

We had pack meeting tonight. And were in charge of the raingutter regatta. We had extra boats so all the leaders got to make one if they wanted to. Well you know Brian & the boys were all over that. This is the boat. After the scouts did the race we gave everyone else a chance to race. Tanner had the best time. I don't even know how many times he raced. And he won most of those. I am scared for when he is really old enough to be in scouts!

I love our family!
Brooke called & invited us to go with them to the Speedway on Saturday night for some truck races. You should have seen the two of us with all 5 boys. We didn't really even know what to expect. Not sure if Crew was going to be scared. Didn't bring ear plugs. We just knew that we would probably end up leaving early & not staying for the whole race. Well we did! We made it! All 146 laps. The boys of course had a blast. These trucks were so loud. All I have to say is I don't understand Nascar & the fans are crazy. They have their favorites & they love them!! We got to see the end of the race when the winner did burnouts on the track. And we got to see the fireworks. And we saw lots and lots of people. That was the best part..... people watching!
Thanks Brooke for thinking of us. We had a fun night. (sorry no pictures. we both forgot our camera)

I love that the weather is beginning to cool off. It's about time. Right?

I love that Jen & I are planning our birthday already. We are taking a trip to New York. I am so excited!

I love that we are getting new carpet in the bedrooms. It has been ordered & will be here in 2-3 weeks. I am not looking forward to moving everything out but it will be nice when it is all finished.

I love this kid! Look at how long his hair is getting! And now Carson is refusing to get a haircut & says that he wants his hair long too. And of course this started a fight because Tanner said that he always copies him.

Crew was playing with this ball today. He was chasing it all over the floor in the family room. It is so funny because he just scoots all over on his butt. He ended up under the kitchen table.

10 months

Well he is 10 months old today &

He took his first 4 wheeler ride &
wouldn't you know he LOVED it!!

Saturday

The boys came over on Saturday night at just the right time. Brian was giving them four wheeler rides around the block. I wish I could have gotten a picture of each of Jessica's boys smile on their faces when they came back. They loved it!!

Brian's deer

Ok so here is THE DEER! He was so excited to have gotten a deer and on the opening day. We are excited because he is home & doesn't have to go back to work till monday. I am also excited because my prayers have been answered. Yes he is going to have it mounted (because he hasn't shot a deer in 18 years!) & no it is not going to be hung inside the house. He told me it will go in the garage. Can you see me smiling!!
Thanks to Chris & Kayla who went with Brian to help. Brian was telling me how funny Kayla is. She didn't really want to get close to it after it was shot. They had to beg her to take this picture of the two of them. And how she said that Brian can pay her back my giving her the four wheeler as payment! She had fun riding it! Anyways thanks again! Brian was glad you came & you were such a big help.

Brian has been gone deer hunting since Friday morning. He was scheduled to be gone for 10 days unless he shot a deer or was tired of being in the mountains by himself. Well...........
I got a phone call from Brian this afternoon to tell me that he has been cutting up a deer for the last two hours. He is filling up the ice chests. I just had to tell him how happy I was for him! I'm not too sure how happy I am though. He didn't have good service so I am not sure how big it is or what kind of plans he has for this deer. But I am happy because he is happy & he has been waiting for this for a long time. Too bad his dad couldn't be there with him!

Look who we got to see yesterday. We took a day trip to Victorville to see Kim play soccer! It was a long day but worth it to see her. The boys had a good time & for the most of the ride Crew was good. Until the last hour. He was ready to be out of his car seat. I am glad we got the chance to go. Good game Kim!!!

This kid is into everything when he gets into his walker! His favorite place is the pantry. He loves pulling out all the plastic bags. (Don't look at the mess)

Preschool

Carson's first day of preschool was today. He was so excited to go this morning. He asked me if I was just going to drop him off & when I told him yes that I would pick him up later , he told me that he would be ok. He is such a big boy now!

He wanted me to take a picture of his Diego backpack. He had a good day. When I picked him up he told me that he learned lots of things but he couldn't remember.

Our weekend

Well we got a lot of things done this weekend. No plans just did things around here that never seem to get done. Like changing light bulbs, cleaning under the couch (that was pretty gross), yard work in the front and back yard, went through the boys clothes & put away in the attic. The boys were happy when I gave them a rag and spray bottle. I told them they could clean the doors, walls or baseboards. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I remember we hated it but my freaky boys loved it. Maybe they won't when they get older!!

We did some fun things too! We met up with Monica and the girls to go swimming at their hotel. It was so good to see them. The girls are getting so big. Ate at McDonalds. The boys went shooting early this morning with Brian. And loved every minute of it!! And we went to the park with Jess & the boys. They wore themselves out! Here are a few pictures from the park. He has a new love!

Crew has been watching Carson drive the Jeep around the yard for the last two days. He get so excited & was starting to yell at him. So we were out in the garage this morning cleaning & so we let him sit in it. He was one happy boy!
