The lady syrup

Carson woke me up this morning at 7:30. Everyone else was asleep so I asked him if he wanted cereal so I could go back to sleep. He said "No I want pancakes with the lady syrup."

Girls Weekend

I get to go out of town with Jen & Susie this weekend. (Sorry Susie I don't have a picture with all three of us!) We are going to Utah. I am so excited & can't wait! It is a much needed girls weekend!

We HATE breathing treatments!

We went to the doctor today for Crew. He has been coughing and congested for the last few weeks. And I wanted to see of I could get something else for him because whatever I was giving him was not making him better. Well that is because he has allergies & post nasal drip. Now he has to have breathing treatments. Poor baby! I forgot how bad they hate this!

My sweet Tanner

This is what Tanner made for me today when he came home from school. I wasn't sure what he was doing so quietly all by himself. It is a rose made of paper in a cup filled with rocks & that is money glued to to the cup. And then he made a trailer out of paper & glued that to the cup too. He is such a sweet little boy!

Today was the first time we went swimming this summer. We only swam for about an hour but they had fun! Crew wasn't too sure about it. I think the water was a little too cold for him.

"I'm a good boy"

Carson was eating a popsicle this afternoon and he said "I need to taste this to see if it is good like me." So I asked him if he was good. And he said "Yes I'm a good boy."

We went to the Springs Preserve on Saturday. Brian & I were talking about it because we saw something on the news that it was the opening weekend. So we decided to go check it out. It was so cool & the boys had so much fun. There is lots of stuff to do & see. We didn't even see half of it so we are planning on going back again for sure. It is kind of pricey to get in but we got a family annual pass. They have trails too so we thought when it is not so hot that we could go back to do that part of it. Anyways check it out.

"I pulled a Jen Rose"

I got this really cute (fake) COACH purse when I was with Jen. We asked how much it was and the lady told us it was $45. When she walked away Jen said "You should ask if they would take $40 for it." Well by the time I decided that yes I was going to buy it Jen went to wait for me. I walked up and & at the last minute thought..what will it hurt just to ask. I asked her if she would take $40 for the purse. Well she went to ask "the boss" and guess what??? She came back & said ok.!!!! OK that kind of stuff never happens to me. Well maybe because I don't ever ask. Anyways I walked away so happy! When I walked back to Jen & Susie I was laughing. Jen asked why I was laughing at myself & I said "I pulled a Jen Rose!" For some reason I just could not stop laughing at myself. Maybe because I have never done that! And it actually worked.
So back to the purse..........isn't it so cute. Score me!!

And then I copied this idea. We needed new markers & such so I liked the idea & took a little trip to Target today. The boys stayed pretty busy. I think it is cool cause we can just leave it out and they can color whenever they want to.
