Where did September go? I didn't blog all month. Not really sure why.
But now I am. And now for some reason I can't upload any pictures.
What am I doing wrong?
Well this is how our September went:

*Crew started preschool. 2 days a week for an hour and a half. He is really loving it. He asks everyday if he goes to school. I think it makes him feel like a big boy. He is so cute in the morning when he is getting ready for school with the big boys.

*Loving the Boutiful Baskets. Have only been able to get one so far this month. It just hasn't worked out with our busy saturdays.

*Our ward boundaries were changed and we are now in a new ward. We love it! I am primary secretary and Brian is a sunday school teacher.

*Tanner started basketball again. I can tell that he has improved from the last session.

*cub scouts, birthday parties, presidency meetings, baptisms, sunday dinners, baby who doesn't sleep, and dr appointments. Oh and an ear infection!

You know just the usual stuff. I want to be a better blogger. I promise.....I do!
Hopefully I can figure out this problem I am having cause I have some cute pictures.

Does anyone coupon shop? 
I do!
I have learned so much from my mom. She is an instructor for grocery smarts. I am always checking her blog. And she is always so good to inform me on the diaper sales.Man!  Have I saved tons of money.  Diapers are expensive!  Well right now she is having a giveaway.  So go HERE and leave a comment.  You could be entered to win a Albertsons gift card and some coupons.  Even if you don't coupon shop who would not love free money towards your groceries??  And one more thing....if you don't coupon shop or have no idea what I am talking about, then call her!  She would be so happy to teach you.

We survived and made it to the weekend.
I thought this fist week of school would never end.
So happy for a 3 day weekend already.
We kinda need it.

New school year + Routine+ Schedules + mom back on her diet =
Tired. Cranky. Whiny. No energy. and Meltdowns.

I am so ready for the weekend.

Our plans: 
We are just going to be hanging out and relaxing. 
Waiting for a netflix movie to arrive today.
Going to Gabe's baptism.
Brian is on call.
Tanner wants to go get shaved ice.
Discussing some changes for our 2nd week of school. (so hopefully it will be more smooth)

Dad said that you are growing too fast.
And I agree.

Right now....
...you know your name.  and your brother's too.
...you drink out of a sippy cup.
...you can hold your own bottle. your brother's think that is funny. well they laugh anyway.
... you have 4 teeth.
...you wear a size 5 diaper. that will give you an idea of how big you are.
...you like to be held up in the air. you really like this! you just laugh and want to do it again.
...you are so close to crawling. you get up on your hands & knees.  you have taken a couple moves and then fall down. you are going to figure it out soon!
...you pull my hair.  and you think it is funny.
...you always want my keys. 
...you scratch the arm of the rocking chair when I am feeding you.
...you get around all over the house in your walker.  you are pretty fast.  we have to watch out cause you always get our ankles. and that hurts!
...you still love bathtime.
...you are one happy baby.
...you are loved.

Tuesday August 31st, 2010
2nd day of school.
I remembered to get the camera out and take some pictures.
So much for the first day pictures.
Carson cooperated with me.  And of course we had to get one of Crew.
Tanner was in the house crying.
So no picture of Tanner this year. 
He had been crying for about an hour.
He did not want  to go to school. He hates school!
I though with how well the 1st day went that we were not going to have problems.
What was I thinking.
It is just a new year.

First Day of school

First day of school.
Carson. 1st grade. Mrs Coleman
Tanner. 4th grade. Mr. Moore
Crew. Stays home with mommy.  Only 3 years old. He thinks he is going to school.

Crew packed his lunch to go to school. I have been telling him for a week now that he is not going to school yet. He finally realized this when we came home without the 2 older boys. He was really ok with it. He sat at the table and watched Dora and ate his lunch. 
Tanner & Carson were a little nervous at drop off. We found everyones lines and made sure that they knew I was picking them up. 
Oh and I didn't even take pictures. I forgot.

I am loving school!
I love the structure and schedule.
I was smiling all day. 
The house was quiet.
And it stayed clean! 
Crew and Greyson were happy.
There weren't that many messes to clean.
Life is good.

Brianhead

 

On the last weekend before school started we went Brianhead.
My parents rented a cabin for the whole family to stay in.
It was a really nice place.
It even had a pool table.  That is what the kids were most excited about!
The weather was pefect.  Perfect for riding bikes, exploring, sitting on the patio, and of course fishing.

The drive to the lake was so green & pretty.
We had a few sick kids from the ride. Being car sick stinks! That wasn't so nice.
Oh and the cows on the way home either.
Brian scared me.  He rolled my window down and right then a huge cow mooed in my face.
Well I cried.
And the boys thought that was the funniest thing ever!
Oh the memories! :)

Seems like this is all Brian is doing when he is fishing with the boys.
Someday they will all be able to do it themselves.
No wonder he likes to sneak away to go fishing by himself. :)

 We took the scenic way home.
It was so pretty.

This was a nice end to our summer!
