Why....

...do you have to grow up?

...can't you stay little?

...can't I bottle you up and keep you just like this?

You are so fun right now. You can communicate so much more with me. I can pretty much understand what you are telling me. You repeat everything! You have such a cute little laugh and smile. You are sad when I leave. You watch me pull out of the driveway and you wave to me. You love me when I get home. You give me lots of kisses. You let me hold you. You know you are the baby & you know how to get your way. And you also know how to get the big boys in trouble. You scream at the top of your lungs and then mommy gets mad at them. Then you get what you want. You are so happy in the morning and want to snuggle. You hug my neck so tight. I love the way you hook your little hand around me.
I just love you and want to keep you just the way you are!

A night out with the girls

Went to the Taylor Sift concert with these girls!
It was so much fun!
There were so many young girls with their mom's and dad's.
Everyone sang every word with her.
It was crazy!!
Thanks for the fun night girls!

Aren't they the cutest??

Preschool Graduation 2009

Carson had his preschool graduation this morning.
Tanner was pouting that he couldn't go because he had to go to school.
His pouting worked! Tanner came to the graduation & went to school late.
Brian and grammie came too.
They were all so cute in their caps & gowns.
After Carson & I went to Baskin Robbins. That was his request.
He said that is what he wanted to do to celebrate.
Then when we were talking while we were eating ice cream, he brought up the wii fit that we played the other day at jen's house. And since I have been secretly wanting one....I said "should we get one?"
He thought that was a great idea. So we went to Walmart on the way home.
That is all they have been doing.
And I say "they" because I can't even get a turn!!

It is crazy for me to think that he will be in kindergarten next year.
I know that he is ready & will love it.
I have just gotten so used to him being at home with me.
He is such a good boy.
I am going to miss him!!

Congratulations Carson!!

Where does time go? It has been a week and a half since my last post. I guess nothing has been too exciting except.....

*Tanner & Carson are loving karate. This session is over. They have to be in the class for 2 sessions before they can test. Brian had to take them last Friday for me & he sent me a text about how Carson is so serious. I need to remember my camera!

*Tanner is still excited about scouts. He earned his bobcat this last pack meeting. He is becoming an annoying cub scout! :)

*Getting stuff ready for girls camp. Went and checked out the camp site last weekend.

*Everyday Crew is getting bigger and bigger to me. He is talking more. He copies everything. He loves to wrestle & fight. He is just like one of the big boys!

*Made some graduation bottlecap pendants. Check them out!

I promise my next post will have pictures. We will be having a fun weekend (Taylor Swift) so you can count on pictures!

***Oh & Crew is much better since the last post. He was doing better that night. Thanks to the meds. Let's just hope that doesn't happen again!

A litte scare!

Thursday night Crew had some itchy spots on his lower stomach. I gave him some benadryl thinking it was hives. On Friday morning when he woke up he was scratching like crazy. I gave him some more benadryl. I sent him to the babysitters house because he was fine. He stopped itching and he didn't have a fever or anything. I ran some errands & got all packed and ready to go out of town. The plan was to leave around 2:30. Well when I picked him up from the babysitter he started crying when I picked him up to carry him to the car. He cried all the way home. I carried him into the house and put him on my bed. I was going to rub some cream on him & give him some more benadryl when I noticed that his knees, elbows, and ankles where swollen, red and hot when I touched them. I got on the phone & tried to call his doctor & his allergy doctor. All I could do was leave messages. I knew something was not right. This was crazy & has never happened to him before.
Jen came over to wait till we went out of town & I decided to go get Tanner out of school early so I could take Crew to the urgent care. Crew fell asleep & I left to go get Tanner. As I was walking up to the school the nurse from the doctor's office called me back. She suggested that I call 911. She was worried that he might stop breathing if he was having an allergic reaction. I panicked & called Jen. I told her to stay right by him and watch his breathing while he was sleeping. As I was driving home from the school I called 911. Tanner was so scared. He kept asking me "you really have to call 911?" Within a few minutes the firetruck showed up. All 4 of them came into my room & started checking him out. Then the ambulance got there. They didn't know what was going on but said that he was ok with all his vitals and breathing. They said that he definatley needed to be checked out. We headed to UMC pediatric urgent care. We really didn't have a long wait at all. They said that he had inflammatory condition called vasculitis. Gave us a prescription for a steroid & tylenol with codeine and we were off. We met Brian at home & loaded up to get on the road. I am so releived that Crew was OK. It sure was a scare!! Thanks to everyone who helped me. You know who you are! :)

I went to the DMV today. I wasn't looking forward to it at all. Even though it is some good people watching for sure. I forgot my book. So I just sat there with my little # in my hand and waited. And people watched. Is that a hobby? People watching. I would consider it a hobby because I like it so much. Anyways....I only had to wait an hour and a half. Then I was out the door. Thank goodness!! Plus I had a credit so the registration wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.

I was feeling pretty crappy still today. A headache. Tired. Congested. You know what I'm talking about. Crew wanted me to lay down by him and I fell asleep. It felt pretty good. I guess I needed that. Hopefully tomorrow I can actually get up in the morning and make it to the gym. We will see??

Carson made a "hairy Harry" at school & today he got to bring him home. The hair is grass. And their teacher told all the parents that they talked about giving him a haircut. They can only cut his hair if mom or dad says it's ok and are helping. She also told them that they could only cut Harry's hair and no one else's.

I wish Crew could have heard that about the cutting hair. Well he got his little hands on the small clippers & took a strip off the middle of his head. I have been telling Brian for awhile now that I wanted to buzz his head. But I didn't really want to do it at 8am on a friday morning. I was making Tanner's lunch for school & Crew walks into the kitchen. He says "Here momma".

Tonight ended with one of my young women in my ward who brought me a thank you note & some cookies. I was not expecting that at all & it was a really nice surprise. Thanks! And I know you are reading this! :)
