Fainting issues

Tanner went back to school on Monday after being on track break for 4 weeks. I was really excited & looking forward to him being back in school. Well I had only been home for about 20 minutes after dropping him of when the school nurse called me to come pick him up. She said that he was pale & dizzy. After I picked him up & talking to him about what happened, I figured he had fainted. He said "I got really dizzy and then it got dark & darker & then I fell asleep for just one minute."
Then today around 10:45am the school nurse calls me again to tell me that I needed to come & pick him up. He was dizzy again & complaining about his stomach hurting really bad. I was really wondering if he was trying to get out of school.
I got him in to see his doctor. She checked everything. His blood pressure, blood sugar, urine, temperature & oxygen. Everything was fine. She asked me if anyone in the family fainted. So I told her that I did when I was younger. That my parents took me to all sorts of doctors. They did all kinds of tests just to tell my mom that I had syncopy. Syncopy means the tendency to faint. And that I would grow out of it. Well I did. But now I think I may have passed this on to my poor Tanner.
His doctor is referring him to a cardiologist & neurologist to make sure that everything else is ok before she can diagnose him with syncopy.

Looks like we now have to deal with fainting issues at our house.

Another drawing from Carson

Carson drew this picture today at preschool. Miss Tina wrote down what he told her it was. I love little kid drawings.

We went to Springs Preserve to check out the Winter Lights Festival. The boys loved it. We are going to have to go back again so we can take a hay ride & see the puppet show.

Creative boys

Cardboard & a roll of tape is all Tanner needs to keep him busy for an hour or so. I hate it because I never can keep a roll of tape in the house for very long.

Carson drew this for me today. He told me it was a bee. "Don't you see the yellow & black stripes mom?"

Thanksgiving

We had a really nice Thanksgiving. Hung out at mom and dad's for a few hours. The kids played outside and had a blast. We just kept eating. Everything was so good. My favorite was the apple pie! Then we went to the Santiago's for dinner. Eric helped with the food this year & it was really good.

Look at these crazy girls. I think that they were just happy to be together.

A little basketball

And a little bit of skateboarding!

And finally a picture of my new nativity. I LOVE IT!!!! I have been wanting this one to add to my collection for years now. And every year I tell myself that I am going to look at buying it at the after Christmas sales. Well this one never goes on sale. So I haven't been able to get it. Now I can't wait to get the rest of them out to display! Isn't it so pretty?

Thanksgiving Pies

The kids went to make pies with Grammie last night. They each made their own mini pumpkin pie. It was much better this year. No fighting about whose turn it was. Once they put that apron on they are all business.

Help....

I need some ideas for Cub Scouts. I have to come up with a game for all the boys to play and it needs to be a cooperation game. Does anyone have any good ideas?

A young woman in our ward is taking photography at Eldorado and has been wanting to take pictures of the boys. We decided to go up to the temple after church so the kids could run around. I took my camera too to just play around. Here are a few that I took.

This is Crew's new smile/laugh!?! It is the funniest thing ever. I love it!

This is all I know......

Brian & I got to go out tonight. (Thanks to Jess for watching the boys!) We had a good time.

The garage is a little cleaner after this afternoon.

Tanner scored his FIRST goal today at his soccer game. This kid was all over the ball in the second half. This is not how Tanner plays. Brian says he is a polite player. Will just give the ball to anyone who wants it. Is just not very aggressive. So Coach Eric (AKA: Uncle) told him to get out there and play shark. So that is just what he did!! GOOD JOB TANNER!!

Crew is going to be ONE soon! It seems like I just had him & was so worried about our new life with him and adjusting to everything.

This kid is into EVERYTHING!!

He loves the kitchen drawer that has all my rags & dishtowels. He pulls them all out. He loves to be in the bathroom whenever anyone is taking a bath or shower. I am wondering when I will be able to take a shower with the door CLOSED again!?!

And don't forget about the laundry room. The broom is fun & so is pulling all the trash out. The cat food & water is the best. What a mess this kid can make!

6 interesting things about me!

I was tagged by Cherine. I am not sure if they are very interesting but here it goes.

1. I love to read. I really never have the time to do this but I love when I read a good book that I can't put down.

2. I am always making lists. I just feel like I have to write everything down.

3. I like things to be clean & organized. Not always the case around here. But I try. It makes my life feel like it has some order.

4. I love to hear kids singing.

5. I collect nativity sets. I love the story of Christ's birth. And by displaying them at Christmas I hope that my kids will grow to love this story too. And to always remember the true reason we celebrate Christmas.

6. I love bags & purses. (Brian would say that I collect those too!!) I just can't get enough!

Desirae was someone...............

-who I have never met, never heard her voice or have never seen her beautiful smile in person.

-who was very creative and loving.

-so sweet!

-who was a friend to many. And to some without even knowing it.

I remember when Raeday first posted a comment on Heather's blog. We were so excited and wanted to know who she was. We always talked about her and wanted to know more. She finally shared her blog address with us. We visited her blog often and she did the same with all of ours. Her comments were always so sweet. And I enjoyed reading a little bit about her world. Even though I have never met Raeday I feel that we were connected through the internet... this little blogging world. And I feel that I have lost a friend. I know that someday I will get the opportunity to meet her. To see her huge smile and see her bright blue eyes in person!

I will always remember her!

Halloween fun!

Carson said Crew has a new nickname now! It's Crew dawg instead of Crew bear.
Jess, Alex, Julian, & Gabe came over to go trick or treating in our neighborhood. The kids had a good time. Just around the block & the boys were asking if we were going home yet. Carson told me that he changed his mind & he wanted to be superman for halloween. It made me kind of sad. I told him that mom & grammie worked hard on his shark boy costume. And he was not going for it. So superman he was!
Here is a picture of all the boys together before going out!

And here is a picture of after when they had to sort out all their candy!
