We have been trying to stay cool around here.
It seems like everyone is cranky & bored.
And I think it has to do with the heat.
Well the cranky part has to do with the heat.
The bored part has a lot to do with....we don't have something planned everyday and mom has to work.  Oh and she has to work on the computer so that means that little hands can't get on.  So they are just SO BORED!!

We have been swimming a lot.
Greyson loves to get in the pool.  No complaints from him!
Have gone to a few friends houses and some birthday parties.

And have just worn ourselves out! 

We also went to the Lied Discovery Museum. 
The day that everyone else went too.
The day it was FREE.
It ended up being ok. It was just a lot of people.  Anything to be inside and not have to pay. I guess that is what everyone else thought too

Went to dinner with all the adults on my side of the family.
Russ and Caitlin were in town to see her cute sister who just got home from her mission.
They are just so cute to watch together.  Seems like they didn't skip a beat.

All I have to say is that I had a really good time. We need to do this more often.
I love my family.  I mean look at my pretty mom and sisters. And I think my brothers are pretty handsome too!  I mean, look at Russell is those glasses.  I love them! 

My pics are pretty crappy compared to Heather's.  So go check this out.
And note to Heather:  Don't make funny faces when people are taking your picture.  Especially when it is  the only picture taken of you the whole night.  You never know....it just might get posted.  Love you!

The boys love to wrestle. 
Crew can pretty much whoop on the older boys.
I think Tanner & Carson kinda go easy on him.
But Crew doesn't. 
There will be no reason that he will hold back.

He is all over the place.

He is right there when I am loading the dishwasher.

And everytime he seems to find this fun stuff!
They end up all over the floor.
And then he cries because he can't get them.

Awards, Kindergarten Promotion & End of Year

Wednesday we had to go to the school for Tanner's award ceremony.
It was for all the 1st thru 3rd grade classes.
You would have thought it was for the whole school..
There were so many awards and it took forever.
Tanner's class was of course one of the last.
Tanner received an attendance & citizenship award.  
Crew wanted to go home.
I'm not gonna lie.
I did too!
So we entertained ourselves! Nice pictures right??

Thursday was the last day of school.
And it was also Carson's kindergarten promotion.
They sang a few songs and then passed out their certificates.
It was really cute.
Carson is so excited to be going into 1st grade.
He is loving that he will get to stay all day and eat lunch at school.
Oh and that we gets to play on the big playground.

I went by Tanner's class while at the school & got this picture. 

He has really come a long way this year. 

He has made some really big improvements and is setting higher goals for himself. 

And he is really excited for the summer break. 

Now let's just see how I survive! haha!

Yesterday. 7.6.2010

It was a regular day.
We did our normal thing in the morning.
Brian left for work.
I got the boys out the door for school. 
I came home and worked most of the day.
I did get my one load of laundry done.
I am pretty sure I even wasted some time on the computer.

When Brian got home I snapped this picture of us.
I was taking some pictures of Greyson in his walker.
The house was a mess.
We had leftovers for dinner.
After dinner I ran to the grocery store.
Brian was on call.
When I got home he had to leave.
I put the boys to bed.
And wasted some more time on the computer. (why is that so easy to do??)

But yesterday......  7.6.2010
was our 14th year anniversary.

I love my life. I am a pretty lucky girl.

4th of July

We went to Kanarraville again this year with the Rose family.
We went on the hike again.

Crew fell in and went underwater. He "got water in his mouth."
And from that point on we were going to be in the shade. 
He was shivering. So a few of us headed back home.
Brian and the other hikers kept going.  They went to a swing and a rock slide.

That water is cold.  Not sure if I would have done that.
They had fun! 

Decorated a float for the parade.  Surfin in the USA.  It turned out really cute.  We all rode on it and threw candy.  I have to admit it was kinda fun. We didn't win but we knew that ours was the best.  We will just have to try again next year. :)

We did tons of eating and just hanging out! 
We had our share of shaved ice too.  yummy! 

Thanks again to Jen & your family for always making us feel like family! We love you!

We got home on sunday around 4:30.  And a couple hours later we were in the car again heading to the Abbott's.  We had dinner. Sang happy birthday to Kyle. Ate rootbeer floats.  Let off some fireworks and then watched the big ones at Aliante Station right in the driveway.  It was a long day and we were all tired. Greyson and Crew fell asleep on the way home. The rest of us went straight to bed. And we even got to sleep in a little bit on monday. It was nice to have monday off from school and work.  We had no plans.  And it was realy nice.
