* Tanner's bloodwork came back normal. That was good to hear. He has been back to himself. Except he has been wanting to go to bed at 8:00. What? That is not like Tanner. But I do like it. :)

* Crew's allergies have been so much better. He has stopped coughing so much.

* Carson started coughing though. And it was the croup (barking seal cough). Good thing we already had drugs for that.

* These boys have been very clingy & needing a lot of attention this last week. I think that they know I will be out of town this weekend. Going to Arizona for a work seminar. I have been trying to get everything done & ready for when I am gone.

* Also have been busy making pendants. We have a few parties scheduled for the next couple of weeks. Really excited to be doing this.

Why can't I say no.....

to the little neighbor girl when she comes to my door in her girl scout uniform and asks if we would like to buy some girl scout cookies?

(**We bought 2 boxes of thin mints, 2 boxes of caramel delights, and one box of lemonades.)

We were busy this week.
Brian: worked so much, crawled under a mobile home and thru some cactus plants, went to a couple basketball games, played basketball, shot a commercial for work. (more about that later!)

Amber: sewed some new pillows for my living room, made some bottlecap & dogtag pendants, took care of Tanner & Crew (both were sick this week). And that pretty much took up my whole week.

Tanner: Got sick at school on Wednesday. It was the end of the day & they were walking out to line up. He got really pale & said he felt like he was going to faint. His teacher had to carry him to the office. They called me & I went to get him. He stayed home from school the rest of the week. I took him to his doctor & they ordered some blood work. Will find out on Monday what the results are.

Carson: Has been on the back burner this week. He has been my little helper though. He has done lots of coloring/drawing & playing on the computer.

Crew: Was sick most of the week. His allergies have been really bad. We couldn't get him to stop coughing. So that meant he didn't sleep. And either did we. I finally took him to a new allergy specialist on Friday. I really liked this doctor. We found out that he also has asthma. Plus he had a sinus infection. Since all the new info & medication that we have to give him now, he is doing much better. Hopefully when we go back in 3 weeks he can be taken off most of the meds.

And a big thank you to all that came to the party on Saturday. And especially to all that helped us.

Fun times with Dad riding in the snow.
The boys had a blast.
They weren't expecting snow. So they didn't have the right shoes or gloves.
But that didn't stop them.

Tanner had snow all over the back of him. He didn't even know it.
And his hair was frozen.

OUR VALENTINES DAY

What could be better than flowers & sugar cookies??

This year I filled Aunt Kimberly's void. She always gives the kids a heart attack & sugar cookies on Valentine's day. This year since she was gone I attempted to make sugar cookies. I have always hated making them because they never turn out right. I was very proud of myself. They were good. So now I know I can do it. The boys were pretty surprised too.

Brian took Tanner & Carson riding early on Saturday morning. They went about 3 hours from town. And they got to ride the 4 wheeler in the snow.
I will have to post pictures of that later.

We had a nice dinner at home. Ribs, green beans, salad, & rolls.
Then we all went to the UNLV basketball game.
It was a good day!

Happy Birthday Brian!

Brian's birthday was on Friday the 13th. He decided to take the day off of work. His original plan was to go fishing, but that changed once they heard the weather report.
I took him shopping on Friday to look for a mapping software for his GPS. We didn't have much luck & decided to buy it online and do some more research.
It was nice to have him home for the day.
I was able to go and help in Tanner's class with their valentine day party.
Those kids are crazy when they have a party!
One more reason why I wouldn't be a good teacher!

Later that night we had some family & friends over for cake & ice cream. (Some people that came are not in the group picture.) We had a good time. Like always, kids kept themselves entertained & had a good time.
Thanks to everyone that came over!

HAPPY 35th BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!!
WE LOVE YOU!

BUSY

* Working & keeping up with everything.

*Making phone calls & plans for girls camp.

* Working on reading lots with Tanner. He gets tired of reading. He is always asking how many more pages. And he doesn't read very fast yet either so he has a hard time telling me what he has read. I get frustrated with him too fast. I need to be better. I don't think I would be a good teacher.

* Working lots on our jewelry. Getting lots made & we introduced some new bottle cap pendants & dog tag pendants. Check out our just be blog to see what's new. We are going to be starting home parties. Just trying to get all that figured out. So watch for your invitation soon!! :)

* Trying to get my camera out more. Here is one of Carson & Crew. I found them sitting right by each other after lunch one day. Both of their shirts were off. And they were happy!! What would it be like to be a boy?

* Helping the boys with their class valentines. I love that they just have you sign the from name. They don't want the names on the cards because it takes too long to pass out? That is the only reason I could think of. They picked out a huge hershey kiss to give to their teachers. Crew found one & helped himself. I need to get another one now!

* Need to start having a good (but light) snack for Tanner after school. He comes home so hungry. All he wants to do is eat but then at dinner time is not really hungry. Then at bedtime he is so hungry again. This needs to change. Any ideas for snacks?

Confused

When I went to drop Carson off at preschool on wednesday there were all these pictures hanging in the hallway. They were all the presidents of the united states. We stood there and were waiting for class to start and....

Carson: "Who are these pictures of?"
Me: "These are all the presidents of the united states."

After a few seconds of silence.

Carson: "Well where's President Monson?"

Then I had to explain to him the difference between the 2 presidents. He gets confused some times.

And I let him!!

The Montie family came into town for the weekend. They stayed at our house.
We had lots of fun. I think the kids had the most fun.
We played the wii, jumped on the tramp, visited the springs preserve, went to the park,
and played some more.
Good memories!

Sunday night we celebrated grandma's 88th birthday.

Crew: (pointing to great grandma) "mama"
Me: No that's great grandma. That is poppa's mommy, and my grandma, and your great grandma.
Carson: Was she really that great?
Me: Yes, she really is that great!

We all got a good laugh thanks to these boys!

And today is Jen Rose & Cherine's bday!
Happy birthday girls!!! I hope you have a nice day!
I love you!
