Tanner was baptized on Saturday. It was such a nice day. He was so very excited to get baptized & he looked handsome in his new suit! We had lots of family & friends that came. I told him that he has lots of people who love him. It was extra special because his cousin Trace was also baptized. We are so happy for Tanner's decision he made. For the special spirit he is in our family & for the example that he is setting for his brothers. We love you Tanner!

After the baptism we went to Melissa's house for a bite to eat. We made it pretty fast because we had somewhere to be!! (Monster Jam)
It was fun to be with so many family. The boys always have fun with their cousins.
I think everyone enjoyed the chocolate fountain! It was the HIT!! All of the kids had it all over them. All over their faces & white church shirts.



We went home really fast & changed our clothes. (Oh and sprayed the shirts and threw them in the wash. ) Then we were off to Monster Jam!! The boys look forward to this every year. Well let's be honest! So do I!!

Why I love monster jam:
* I love to watch my boys. They love it! Even Crew!
* The people watching is the best ever.
* So many little & big boys with mo-hawks. And they spray them green!
* How loud it is.
* There are 3 girl drivers. I love that!
* The excitement of it all.
* When the crowd gets crazy if a truck crashes. It is awesome!!



Carson's favorite trucks this year are: El Torro Loco & Batman

Tanner's favorite truck this year was the new Nitro Circus truck driven by Travis Pastrana.


And Crew's favorite is the doggie truck. (Monster Mutt)

Since the last post....

*We met some fun little boys at the dinosaur park. We only knew they were in town because of an email that I sent. It was fun to play for a little bit. They boys had fun & I think the favorite was all the little turtles. We get to see them again next month when we go to Utah. We can't wait!

*Tanner went back to school. When I dropped him off at school monday morning I told him to have a good day & that I knew I would cause I was having a party. A back to school party. I told him too bad he couldn't be there. He only believed me for just one second. But it was a happy day. Happy to be back on a schedule. Happy that he had something to entertain him.

*We went bowling for Trace's birthday. All the kids were on 2 lanes. They had a blast. I think it was the never ending bowling game!!

*Tanner has now gone to 2 cub scout meetings & also day camp. He is officially in cub scouts. And is loving it.

*I got some happy mail from Candace. I can't wait to get this framed. I love it.

*Tanner also had his baptism preview. He is all ready to get baptized!

*All the boys got haircuts. I still don't understand why Crew freaks out?

*Crew's new word is "guys". He now yells in the morning from his crib for us "guys" to come & get him. He also calls Tann & Carson his "guys." So cute!

He's my lover boy.
He loves to give me kisses and loves (hugs) without even asking.
He holds my cheeks with both hands and will give lots of kisses.
He lays in the middle of our bed in the morning & puts his arms around my neck.
He gets mad at Brian if he tries to reach his arm over me.
He says "no da-da.....me ma-ma"
I love this kid!

We celebrated Tanner's birthday on Saturday.
We had a sports party at the house.
Most everyone wore sports shirts. Well most everyone!
We ate hotdogs, nachos, peanuts, pickles, cottoncandy, & candy.
We only played one game. The rest of the time the kids just ran around & played.
Tanner got a lot of tech decks.
That's what he asked for so that's what he got.
He was happy.
I attempted to make a cupcake cake.
Mom helped make the frosting.
It turned out ok. But didn't look like the store ones.

Tanner really wanted a party at the mini grand prix.
We told him we would go that night & he could take a friend.
Tony & Karley came with us.
Once we got there & bought tickets we realized that Tanner was not tall enough to ride a go cart by himself. But Tony & Karley were.
He was so sad.
He had to cry for a little bit.
And then he was better.
They all 3 stood in line for the kiddie carts.

Once they got to the front of the line & Tony & Karley were too tall to ride.
So Tanner rode by himself.
We watched & thought that he was going to be mad cause they were slow.
He got off & said "that was sweet. I want to go again."
Brian & I were relieved.
He was happy & was having fun.
Crew had fun too.
He rode the rollercoaster & screamed & cried the whole time.
But was the happiest sitting in this car.

Carson rode the rollercoaster 2 times.
Once by himself & once with Brian.
He didn't really want to ride the go carts.

It ended up being a good day.
When I was saying goodnight to Tanner & told me "thank you".
I asked him for what?
And he said for taking them to ride the go carts.
I love him.

Happy Birthday Tanner!!

Tanner turned 8 today!

He is very excited about getting baptized.
He is my helper.
He is a good friend. There are always a couple kids waiting by the gate when I drop him off at school.
He gets things.
He is smart.
He is always down for a trip. Especially if it has anything to do with camping/fishing.
He loves scalloped potatoes.
He is great at drawing.
He has the cutest smile & laugh!
He is the best 8 year old I know!

Spring Forward.......

I hate adjusting to this!
We go to bed late.
We eat at later times then used to.
We are tired and grouchy.
Crew doesn't take a nap.
Carson does.
AUGHHH!!
I just hate getting used to it.

Just another day......

except today I turned 33.

Which meant lots of phone calls, visits,
texts, and birthday wishes on facebook.
Jen came over to visit for most of the day.
We went & got great harvest for lunch, sewed some more pillow covers & just hung out.
She even surprised me with tickets to Taylor Swift....
still not even sure how she kept that secret for a whole week?!?
But thanks again for everything today....I love you!

Went to a late dinner with Brian & the boys.
Came home and had rootbeer floats.

It was just another day.

March already?

I can't believe it is March already. I was reading over my blog from March of 2008 and....
some of the plans that are the same for this year are:

*MONSTER TRUCKS. We love going every year. The boys have a blast. And I have fun watching them love it and also I have fun people watching. Probably the best people watching ever.
*MY BIRTHDAY
*TANNER'S BIRTHDAY. He turns 8 this year & is really excited for his baptism......oh & to start going to scouts. :)

Some things that are different this year:

*NO SOCCER. I really don't miss this at all. And I don't think Tanner does either.
*NO TRIPS PLANNED. I really miss NY! This is one place that someday I would love to go back & visit. Great memories from last year's trip.

Some things that are sill the same:

*STILL FIGHT THE BOYS FOR COMPUTER TIME. Will this ever end. I think we need another computer.
*WEATHER IS NICE.
*BACKYARD STILL NEEDS TO BE FINISHED. Don't know if that will ever get done.
*MOVIE NIGHTS.

I want to get going on lots of things. I want to do some more sewing projects. I want to go thru the boys clothes & organize. I need to organize my closet. Lots of spring cleaning. Hopefully this month will go by a little bit slower so I can do all these things.
